Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

  • Pen/pencil and paper for each student
  • Sample expense record

Warm-up

  • Ask students if they have ever had to spend money unexpectedly, such as for a trip or an emergency.

  • Discuss the importance of keeping track of spending in order to avoid financial hardship in the future.

Direct Instruction
