Objectives & Outcomes

  • Students will be able to create a timeline that reflects their life from birth until present day.
  • Students will use pictures to represent each year of their life.

Materials

  • Pictures of the student's life (e.g. baby picture, kindergarten picture, etc.)
  • Construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Markers or colored pencils

Warm-up

  • Have students reflect on their life so far and think of some key events or milestones they would like to include on their timeline. Write these down on the board.
  • Ask students if they have any questions or additional events they would like to add.
  • As a class, go through the list of events and decide which ones will be included on the timeline.
