Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

• Handouts with examples of the gerund and the infinitive

Warm-up

• Ask students to raise their hand if they know what a verb is.
• Ask for volunteers to give examples of verbs.
• Ask students if they know what a noun is.
• Ask for volunteers to give examples of nouns.
• Ask students if they know what a word form is.
