Topic: land brreze and sea breeze

Objectives & Outcomes

• Students will be able to define land and sea breeze and explain the causes and effects of each.

Materials

• Diagrams of land and sea breezes
• Pen and paper for each student

Warm-up

• Ask students if they have ever experienced a heat wave or a cold front.
• Discuss the causes and effects of heat waves and cold fronts with the class.
• Encourage students to share personal experiences of heat waves and cold fronts they have experienced.

Direct Instruction

• Explain that a land breeze is a gentle wind that flows from land to sea, and a sea breeze is a gentle wind that flows from sea to land.
