Topic: Movie Analysis on the movie Paper planes focusing on themes

Objectives & Outcomes

• Students will be able to analyze the themes in the movie Paper planes by examining the characters' motivations and actions.

Materials

• Copies of the movie Paper planes
• Handout with theme questions

Warm-up

• Ask students what they know about the movie Paper planes.
• Write their answers on the board and discuss as a class.

Direct Instruction

• Introduce the concept of themes in movies. Explain that themes are the underlying ideas or messages that a movie tries to communicate.
