Topic:Creating a Project for Life

Objectives & Outcomes

• By the end of this lesson, students will be able to create a project for life that describes their goals and aspirations.

Materials

• Construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers or colored pencils
• Handouts with examples of project for life

Warm-up

• Ask students to think about their favorite hobbies or activities.
• Have them share their hobbies with a partner.
• Ask them to think about how they could turn their hobby into a career or a job.
• Have a few students share their ideas with the class.

Direct Instruction

• Explain to students that a proyecto de vida is a plan for the future that includes the goals they want to achieve and the steps they need to take to get there.
• Show students the handout with the steps to create a proyecto de vida.
• Go through each step together as a class, using examples and guiding questions to help students understand each step.
• Emphasize the importance of brainstorming and planning ahead when creating a proyecto de vida.

Guided Practice

• Have students work in pairs or small groups to brainstorm goals and steps for their proyecto de vida.
