Objectives & Outcomes

• Students will be able to describe a person using the present simple tense.

Materials

• Images or videos of different people (e.g. celebrities, family members, classmates)
• Blank paper and pens/pencils for each student

Warm-up

• Ask students to think of a famous person they know (e.g. a celebrity, a family member, a classmate).
• Have them write down the person's name on a piece of paper and draw a picture of them.
• Ask students to share their drawing and description of the person with the class.

Direct instruction

• Introduce the present simple tense and its usage for describing present situations.
