Warm-Up

• Ask students to share what they know about energy.
• Write their answers on the board and discuss as a class.

Direct Instruction

• Introduce the concept of energy, explaining that it is the ability to do work.
• Show students examples of different forms of energy, such as kinetic energy (the energy of motion), potential energy (the energy stored in an object due to its position or state), and chemical energy (the energy stored in chemicals such as fuel or batteries).
