Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

  • Pencils of different shapes and sizes (sharpened)
  • Paper

Warm-up

Closure

  • Have the students share their projects with the class.
  • Discuss the different ways that the students used lines in their projects and the different effects that using different types of lines can have.

Assessment: Observe the students during the independent practice activity to assess their understanding of the concept of line as an element of art. Evaluate the students' projects for their use of lines and the different effects that the lines have on the overall design or shape of the project.
