Topic:Plural y singular

Objectives & Outcomes

• Identify and use the correct form of the plural and singular in English.

Materials

• Plural and singular cards with the corresponding English words (e.g. "card" becomes "cards"; "tree" becomes "trees")
• Pencils and paper for each student
• Whiteboard and markers

Warm-up

• Ask the students to give examples of plural nouns and singular nouns in English.
• Write their answers on the whiteboard.
• Ask the students to explain how they form the plural and singular in English.

Direct Instruction

• Show the students the pictures of the objects and ask them to name them in English.
• Ask them to form the plural and singular of the nouns in the pictures.
• Model the plural and singular formation for the students using the worksheets.
• Ask the students to listen and repeat after you.

Guided Practice

• Divide the students into small groups and give each group a set of worksheets with nouns.
