Warm-up

• Ask students to think about their main character.
• Ask them to consider who their main character is and what makes them unique and interesting.

• Ask them to consider where the story takes place and how it impacts the characters and plot.
• Ask students to think about their plot.
• Ask them to consider what happens in the story and how the events are connected.

Guided Practice

• Divide the students into small groups.
• Give each group a narrative writing template and have them fill it in with their main character, setting, and plot.
• Have each group share their narrative with the class and discuss any areas for improvement.
