Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

  • Computer with monitor, keyboard, and mouse
  • Drawing paper and crayons or markers

Warm-up

  • Ask students if they have ever used a computer before.
  • Ask them to share what they remember about the hardware of the computer, such as the monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Direct Instruction

  • Show students the different hardwares of a computer, such as the monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Explain the functions of each hardware, such as the monitor for displaying information, the keyboard for inputting information, and the mouse for controlling the cursor on the screen.
