Objectives & Outcomes

• To understand the basics of project management and how to use Primavera P6 software in project management

Materials

• Primavera P6 software
• Computer with internet connection for project management
• Project management handouts on project management
• Any additional materials on project management (optional)

Warm-up

• Ask students if they have ever worked on a project before and ask them to share their experiences.
• Ask students to list the objectives and outcomes of a project they have worked on.
• Ask students to share any challenges they faced and how they dealt with them.
• Ask students what they think project management is and what they think it involves.

Direct Instruction

• Introduce the concept of project management and explain the purpose of using project management tools and techniques.
• Explain the importance of scheduling, budgeting, and risk management in project management.
• Discuss the different project management tools available, such as Microsoft Project, and explain the differences between them.
