Objective & Outcomes

  • Students will be able to describe the characteristics of a beautiful life.

Materials

  • Images of landscapes and people (e.g. from magazines, internet, etc.) that can be used as examples of a beautiful life
  • Blank sheets of paper and pens/pencils for students to create their own images of a beautiful life

Warm-up

  • Ask students to think of a time in their life when they felt really happy and satisfied.
  • Have them share their experiences with the class and describe what made them feel that way.
  • Ask them if they think that the way they are living their life now is leading them to a beautiful life, or if there is anything they would like to change.

Direct Instruction

  • Define the concept of "beautiful life" and discuss what it means to live a beautiful life.
  • Discuss the importance of making conscious choices and taking responsibility for the way we live our lives.
