Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

• Whiteboard and markers
• Handouts with examples of CSR initiatives
• Computers with internet access

Warm-up

• Ask students if they have heard of corporate social responsibility. Ask them to describe what it is and how it impacts businesses.
• Write a list of corporate social responsibility examples on the whiteboard, such as donating to charity, reducing carbon emissions, and providing employee benefits. Ask students to brainstorm additional examples.

Direct Instruction

• Introduce the concept of corporate social responsibility and explain that it is a responsibility that companies have to their communities and the world at large.
• Provide the students with the handout containing examples of corporate social responsibility. Discuss each example and explain how it impacts society and the environment.
• Emphasize the importance of corporate social responsibility and its role in shaping business practices and decisions.

Guided Practice

• Divide the class into small groups and provide each group with a different example of corporate social responsibility.
