Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

  • Copies of the text of "The Gettysburg Address"
  • Pencils
  • Paper

Warm-up

  • Ask students if they have ever had to ask someone for a favor.
  • Ask for examples of favors that they have asked for and received.
  • Discuss how it is important to be polite when asking for a favor.

  • Explain that there are different ways to ask for a favor.
