Objectives & Outcomes

  • To be able to create a plan about reading use the pre, during and after reading activities or the method presentation, practice and production.

Materials

Warm-up

Closure

  • Review the different reading strategies and how they can be used to understand a text.
  • Ask students to reflect on their own reading behaviors and how they can use the different reading strategies to improve their understanding of a text.

Assessment

  • Observe students during independent practice and provide feedback on their use of reading strategies and their improvement in understanding a text.
  • Collect and review the posters created during independent practice to assess students' understanding of the different reading strategies and their ability to apply them in their own reading.
