Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

• Handouts with examples of hotel servíces

Warm up

• Ask students to think of a time they stayed in a hotel.
• Ask them to share their experience and what they liked or didn't like about the hotel.
• Write their comments on the board as a starting point for the discussion.

Direct Instruction

• Introduce the topic of hotel services and facilities.
• Explain that a hotel is a place that provides lodging and related services to travelers and tourists.
• Distribute the handout with information about hotel services and facilities.
• Go through the list of hotel services and facilities, and explain what each one is and how it is used.
• Use examples from actual hotels to illustrate the points.

Guided Practice

• Have students work in pairs to research a specific hotel service or facility.
• Have each pair present their finding to the class, explaining what the service or facility is and how it is used.
• Encourage students to ask questions and provide additional information as needed.

Independent Practice

• Have students choose a specific hotel service or facility that they find interesting.
