Warm-up

  • Ask students what they know about citizenship. What are the benefits of citizenship?
  • Discuss the concept of global citizenship and how it is different from national citizenship.

Direct Instruction

  • Introduce the topic of global digital citizenship and its importance in the 21st century.
  • Discuss the responsibilities of global digital citizens, such as respecting cultural diversity, protecting personal privacy, and upholding ethical standards online.
  • Provide examples of digital citizenship practices, such as avoiding cyberbullying, avoiding online scams, and using appropriate language and behavior online.
