Objectives & Outcomes

• Students will be able to calculate revenu, costs and profit using formulas and given data.

Materials

• Calculator
• A3 sheets
• Worksheets on calculation of revenu, costs and profit

Warm-up

• Ask the students to recall the definitions of revenu, costs and profit. Write their responses on the board.
• Explain that in today's lesson, they will be learning how to calculate these three terms using formulas and given data.

Direct Instruction

• Show the students the A3 sheet with the formulas and given data. Explain how to use the formulas to calculate revenu, costs and profit, and how to interpret the results.
• Use the worksheets with different scenarios as examples to demonstrate how to use the formulas and how to interpret the results.

Guided Practice

• Have the students work individually to complete the A3 sheet with given data.
• Walk around the room and provide support as needed.

Independent Practice

• Have the students complete the three different worksheets, which will help them to practice their skills in different types of revenue, cost and profit calculations.

Closure

• Have the students share their completed A3 sheets and worksheets with the class and discuss any challenges they faced and their solutions.
