Materials

• Pictures of family members and friends
• Pen and paper for each student
• Access to a computer with internet connection (optional)

Warm-up

• Ask students to share examples of family members and friends they have and why they think it is important to have these people in our lives.
• Discuss the importance of family and friends and the role they play in our lives.

Direct Instruction
