Objectives & Outcomes

Warm-up

• Ask students to share their current workplace roles and responsibilities.
• Ask students to think about someone they know who owns their own business or is an entrepreneur.
• Ask students to share their experiences and observations about this person.
• Ask the class to brainstorm a list of questions about entrepreneurship that they would like to explore in the lesson.

Direct Instruction

• Introduce the topic of entrepreneurship and its importance in the economy.
• Discuss the characteristics and skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur, including creativity, innovation, determination, and risk-taking.
• Provide examples of successful entrepreneurs and their stories to illustrate these concepts.
• Emphasize the importance of planning and research in the entrepreneurial process.

Guided Practice

• Divide students into small groups and provide each group with a scenario or problem.
