Present Progressive

Topic: Present Progressive

Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

  • Whiteboard and markers
  • Handouts with examples of verbs in the present progressive tense

Warm-up

  • Ask students if they can recall any verbs from the previous lesson on simple present. Write a few simple present verbs on the board, such as "play" and "eat," and have students provide examples of how they would use these verbs in a sentence.
